WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid MJ Construction, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 13 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of MJ Construction, Inc. for 2009 Project No. 13 for:
Sanitary Sewer Relays, Sanitary Spot Relays, Sanitary Spot Lining, Sanitary Sewer Lining and Storm Sewer Lining in :
South 68th Street from West Beloit Road to South City Limits
West Arthur Avenue from 126' E. of South 68th Street to South 68th Street
South 76th Street from West Cleveland Avenue to 400' N. of West Oklahoma Ave.
West National Avenue from Union Pacific Railroad to South 70th Street
Easement 175' W. of S. 96th Street from W. Washington Street to 45' N. of W. Washington Street

for the sum of Five Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-One and 00/100 dollars ($533,851.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
