Title

Resolution relative to transferring $85,444.00 from the Contingency Fund to the Police Department Automotive Capital Account for purchasing four (4) Police Squads from Ewald Automotive Group.

Body

WHEREAS, The order will be place in 2011, funds will need to be placed in the 2011 budget due to contractual agreement; and,

WHEREAS, Ewald Automotive Group, the State of Wisconsin contract holder will provide State pricing for 2012 Police Squads.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis, that the proposal dated September 13, 2011, submitted by Ewald Automotive Group for furnishing and delivering four (4) 2012 Fleet Chevrolet Impala Police 4-door Sedan Squad cars for the total net sum of $85,444.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $85,444.00 be and is hereby transferred from the Contingency Fund to the Police Automotive Account 100 2101 521 7002.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Contingency Fund will be repaid a like sum from the 2012 Police Department Automotive Capital Budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
