Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of Bentley Systems, Inc. for providing CAD Drafting Software Maintenance for a total net sum of $14,146.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing CAD Drafting Software Maintenance for the Engineering, IT and Public Works Departments of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bentley Systems, Inc. be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, the Information Technology Division of the Department of Administraton & Finance has determined that this cotract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the compatibility of the subscription service with the CAD platform service provided by this company.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 1, 2011 submitted by Bentley Systems Inc. for furnishing CAD Drafting Software Maintenance for 2012 for the total net sum of $14,146.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
