Title

Resolution Authorizing the Acceptance of Donation of Lands and Interests for Easement Purposes.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis ("City") desires to acquire an easement over certain lands and interests for public purposes as shown and described on Engineering Drawing File No. Y-1145, dated September 3, 2004, which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof  (the "Project"); and,

WHEREAS, the owners of the lands required for the Project have offered to donate said easement to the City; and,

WHEREAS, there will be no displacement of persons or property as a result of the easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized and directed to acquire, by donation, together with one dollar ($1.00) in consideration, the easement over the lands and interests set forth in Exhibit "A" from the owners of record thereof and from any and all other persons or entities which may have an interest in said lands.
