Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for an estimated cost of $261,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for the period August 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering 50,000 gallons of diesel fuel at an approximate cost of $2.70/gallon and 45,000 gallons of unleaded fuel at an approximate cost of $2.80/gallon, based on the daily OPIS Index, for an estimated sum of $261,000.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid fuel.
