Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Miller & Associates for furnishing benches and litter receptacles for the West Allis Greenfield Ave. Streetscaping Improvements for a total sum of $22,776.00.

 

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing benches and litter receptacles for the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

 

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Miller & Associates be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 6, 2003 submitted by Miller & Associates for furnishing twelve (12) Victor Stanley benches and twelve (12) litter receptacles for the total net sum of $22,776.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #773 be and is hereby accepted.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid materials.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said funds shall not be expended until Phase I of the Property Inspection Program is completed in the Downtown area by the Department of Building Inspections & Zoning.
