Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing seven (7) trucks for a total sum of $138,853.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering light trucks for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Ewald Hardford Ford for furnishing and delivering three (3) 2005 Ford F250, 8600 GVW 4x2 for $44,172.00, one (1) 2005 F250, 8600 GVW extended cab, 4x2 for $16,988.00, one (1) 2005 Ford F450 15,000 GVW Diesel 4x4 for $28,123.00 and two (2) 2005 Ford F450 15,000 GVW Diesel 4x2 for $49,570.00 for the total sum of $138,853.00 in accordance with V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government Bid #0403 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
