Resolution relative to acquiring a sole source agreement of Acoustics By Design for providing Noise Consulting Project Services for a total sum not to exceed $17,500.
Body
WHEREAS, The West Allis Health Department has requested acquiring consulting services to establish a baseline of noise levels, identify targets for noise reduction and recommendations for method and timeline to achieve target reduction in noise at the Motor Castings site, located at 1323 S. 65 Street; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Acoustics By Design be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the West Allis Health Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because the company has performed the initial noise testing and report of the Motor Casting site and is familiar with the current Ordinance relative to noise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Acoustics by Design to provide Noise Consulting Project Services for an amount not to exceed $17,500 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Acting Health Commissioner be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
