Title

Resolution relative to adopting the 2004 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program in the amount of $25,077

Body

WHEREAS, Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program regulations require a Public Hearing on the proposed use of Twenty-five Thousand  Seventy-seven Dollars ($25,077 ) in federal funding for the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program; and,

WHEREAS, after due notice, a Public Hearing was held on October 21, 2003; and,

WHEREAS, appropriate communications and application forms are required to be completed and submitted to the U.S. Department of Justice in order to secure this federal funding.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Mayor is hereby authorized to prepare, execute and submit the necessary application and supporting documentation on behalf of the City to secure the 2004 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant.
