Resolution requesting authorization to transfer $11,600 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to purchase computer software Web Map programming for Assessor's Office and Building Inspections and Zoning Department's GIS Web Map site development and customization.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City has previously purchased GeoMedia Web software and associated consulting services for its installation and configuration; and

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary to upgrade the City's GIS Web Map site to allow this software to operate efficiently; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Information Services division has done the required analysis and has concluded that the programming and customization of the GIS Web Map site is required to provide city wide access to the Assessor's Market Drive data and Building Inspection Permits & Zoning data.

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Development has funded the initial cost and has agreed to request a transfer of Eleven Thousand Six Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($11,600) from the Community Development Regular Salaries account to Other Services account.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that, the sum of Eleven Thousand Six Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($11,600) be and is hereby transferred from Community Development Block Grant Contingency Account to the Community Development Block Grant Administration Account to purchase the GeoMedia Web software and associated consulting services for its installation and configuration
