Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing residential waste carts for a total sum of $20,448.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering residential waste carts for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing and delivering two hundred twenty-four (224) 95 gallon carts at $42.00, two hundred forty (240) 65 gallon carts at $39.00 and forty-eight (48) 35 gallon carts at $35.00 for a total net sum of $20,448.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
