Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group for furnishing and delivering 11 trucks for a total sum of $274,704.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing 11 trucks for the Public Works and Fire Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Ewald Hartford Ford for five (5) Ford F250 longbed pickup trucks at $18,300; one (1) Ford F250 pickup truck, no box at $17,851.00; two (2) Ford F450, 4x4, 16000 GVW cab & chassis, 84" cab/axle for $40,914.00; one (1) Ford F450, 4x4, 16000 GVW cab & chassis, 60" cab/axle for $40,762.00 and the proposal submitted by Ewald Chrysler/Jeep, Dodge Ram for one (1) Ram 2500, 4x4 crew cab pickup truck for $24,905.00 and one (1) Jeep Patriot SUV, 4x4 for $17,858.00 for a total net sum of $274,704.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
