Resolution to amend an existing contract with Single Source, Inc. for Real Estate Consulting Services related to the WisDOT project on West National Avenue for an amount not to exceed $160,000.

WHEREAS, the City has an existing Contract with Single Source, Inc. for real estate appraisal and acquisition/negotiation consulting services related to various reconstruction projects throughout the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, the City will need further assistance from Single Source, Inc. for real estate appraisal and acquisition/negotiation consulting services related to the WisDOT reconstruction project located on West National Avenue from South 95th Street to South 108th Street; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Single Source, Inc. be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the funds to be used for this project have been included in the 2025 adopted budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 31, 2025 submitted by Single Source, Inc. for furnishing real estate consulting services related to the WisDOT reconstruction project for an amount not to exceed $160,000.00 be and is hereby accepted. Funding for this project has been budgeted and is available in the Capital Projects Fund with the services being charged to Account Number 350-6008-531.31-01, Project P2332S.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to enter into an amended Contract for Real Estate Consulting Services with Single Source, Inc.; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Engineer, with the approval of the City Attorney, be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eli...
