Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Brodart Library Supplies & Furnishings for providing a circulation desk system for a total net sum of $14,410.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for a Circulation Desk System for the West Allis Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Brodart Library Supplies & Furnishings be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the West Allis Public Library has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because of the design and functionally of this system to meet the specific needs of the public library's circulation desk and the new RFID project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal from Brodart Library Supplies & Furnishings for furnishing and delivering a Cambridge Circulation Desk System for the total net sum of $14,410.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
