Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of R.A. Smith National for providing Engineering Consulting Services for a total sum of $91,100.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for Engineering Consulting Services for the Engineering Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent to the evaluation team rating the firms, the team unanimously recommended that the contract be awarded to the best qualified firm with the lowest bid price, R.A. Smith National.
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of R.A. Smith National be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 26, 2009 submitted by R.A. Smith National for furnishing Engineering Consulting Services for design of W. National Ave., S. 68th St. and S. 76th St. Rehabilitation Improvements for a total sum of $91,100.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1043 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
