Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to contract with Masonry Restoration Incorporated instead of The Garland Company, Inc. for emergency roof repairs at Fire Station No. 2 in the amount of $12,425.

WHEREAS, The Garland Company, Inc. has been a long time roof consultant for West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, The Garland Company inspected the roof leakage and drafted the repair specifications; and,
WHEREAS, Masonry Restoration Incorporated, under the direction of The Garland Company, will actually be performing the repair work; and,
WHEREAS, the resolution adopted at the last Common Council meeting should have authorized a contract with Masonry Restoration, not The Garland Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $12,425 is hereby approved to be funded thought the appropriate City account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for roof repairs with Masonry Restoration Incorporated.
