Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Journal Community Publishing for providing legal notice publication service for an estimated sum of $14,000.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing Common Council proceedings and legal notices for the City of West Allis, that the proposal received as shown on the attached bid report was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Journal Community Publishing be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 7, 2011 submitted by Journal Community Publishing for providing publication services for the period June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012 for an estimated sum of $14,000.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1125 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
