An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 13.26(2) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Penalties for Violation of Chapter 13 of the Revised Municipal Code.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsection 13.26(2) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
13.26 VIOLATION AND PENALTIES.

(2) Penalties. Any person, firm or corporation that shall violate any of the provisions of this Chapter shall forfeit not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) for each violation, together with the costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of such forfeiture and costs shall be confined in the Milwaukee County House of Correction until such forfeiture and costs are paid, for not more than ninety (90) days. Each and every day during which any such violation continues shall constitute a separate violation.

PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
