Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Gerber Leisure Products for furnishing and delivering Landscape Structures, Inc. playground equipment for Liberty Heights Park for a total sum of $81,371.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN Contract #R5202) for furnishing and delivering various playground equipment for Liberty Heights Park for the Department of Development of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Gerber Leisure Products be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 30, 2015 submitted by Gerber Leisure Products for furnishing Landscape Structures, Inc. playground equipment for a total net sum of $81,371.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, that said improvements be funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
