Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of KeyCode Media, Inc. for furnishing and installing Panasonic Cameras for a total sum of $49,393.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering five (5) Panasonic Cameras and accessories to the Cable Communications Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of KeyCode Media, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 13, 2014 submitted by KeyCode Media, Inc. for furnishing and installing five (5) Panasonic AW-HE120/WP/WE Pan-Tilt HD/SD Cameras at $7,889.00 each; one (1) Panasonic AW-HE2P/E Compact HD at $819.00; one (1) Panasonic AW-RP50N/E Remote Camera Controller at $1,849.00 and an extended warranty for years 2 through 5 for $7,280.00 for a total net sum of $49,393.00 all in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1229 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
