Title

Resolution relative to approval of the City of West Allis Grant Application for the $576,200 that was appropriated to the City of West Allis in the form of an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG).

Body

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis agrees to the preparation of an application to allow the City to be eligible to receive the $576,200 appropriated to the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis acknowledges the requirements of the U.S. Department of Energy including the submittal of an Energy Efficiency Conservation Strategy as per the attached Concept Plan; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of City of West Allis does approve and authorize the City to prepare and file an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) in accordance with this resolution; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign all necessary documents on behalf of the City of West Allis
