Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Appropriate City Officials to Acquire Temporary Limited Easements, Permanent Easements and Property for the Reconstruction of W. National Avenue from S. 84th Street to S. 92nd Street.

WHEREAS, the Common Council has approved the reconstruction of W. National Avenue from S. 84th Street to S. 92nd Street (Project); and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to acquire Temporary Limited Easements and Permanent Easements; and,
WHEREAS, it will also be required to acquire certain lands and interests for purposes of completing the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, City Attorney and/or Real Estate Agent are hereby authorized to acquire the lands or interests in land for the Project pursuant to Section 62.22 of the Wisconsin Statutes, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned departments and Department of Development are hereby authorized to determine the just compensation for said easements and other interests in land and to reimburse the owners of any real property acquired for the Project all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred therefore as provided in Chapter 32 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
