Title
Ordinance to amend Subsections 12.06, 12.40(1)(w), 12.41(1)(hh) and repeal Subsection 12.43(2)(l) of the Revised Municipal Code relative to defining and allowing tattoo and/or body piercing establishments in the C-1 Central Business District and C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District as a permitted use.
Body
The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsection 12.06 of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to include the following terms:

Body Piercing establishment: Any establishment that perforates any human body part or human tissue, except an ear, and placing a foreign object in the perforation in order to prevent the perforation from closing.
Tattoo Establishment: Any establishment that inserts pigment under the surface of the skin of a person, by pricking with a needle or otherwise, so as to produce an indelible mark or figure through the skin.

PART II. Subsection 12.40(1)(w), within the C-1 Central Business District, of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
(1) Permitted Uses.

(w) Tattoo and/or body piercing establishments.

PART III. Subsection 12.41(1)(hh), within the C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District, of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:
(1) Permitted Uses.

(hh) Tattoo and/or body piercing establishments.
* * *
PART IV. Subsection 12.43(2)(l), within the C-4 Regional Commercial District, of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby repealed.
PART V. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART VI. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
