Title

An Ordinance to Create Subsection 3.05(31) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to the Motion to Place on File.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.  Subsection 3.05(31) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:

3.05   RULES OF PROCEDURE FOR COMMON COUNCIL.

(31)                     Motion to Place on File.  Such a motion shall mean to take no action on the matter (other than that which may be appended to the motion) and to remove the matter from the Common Council agenda permanently.

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
