Resolution to approve bid of Pro Electric, Inc. for Street Lighting Conversion in the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,104,667.75.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Pro Electric, Inc. for 2022 Project No. 3 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Pro Electric, Inc. for 2022 Project No. 3 for the conversion of street lighting from high voltage series to low voltage parallel with LED luminaries, including removing existing bases, salvaging poles and arms & installing low voltage infrastructure in:

 

Lighting Circuit M-1: S. 92nd St. to S. 84th St. &

W. Schlinger Ave. to W. Greenfield Ave.

Lighting Circuit N-4: W. Greenfield Ave. to Union Pacific Railroad &

S. 98th St. to S. 92nd St.

 

 

for the sum of One Million, One Hundred Four Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-Seven and 75/100 dollars ($1,104,667.75) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds.
