Title

Resolution relative to accepting  the proposal of Peterbilt of WI for furnishing and delivering one (1) Peterbilt 64000 GVW truck cab and chassis for a total sum of $80,559.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) 64000 GVW low entry dual control truck cab & chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Peterbilt of WI be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 19, 2004 submitted by Peterbilt of WI for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2005 Peterbilt 320 64000 GVW truck cab & chassis for a total net sum of $80,559.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 840 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
