WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of UPI Construction LLC for 2025 Project No. 16 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of UPI Construction LLC for 2025 Project No. 16 water main relays and pavement restoration in:
South 99th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Becher Street
(PLAN FILE NOs. W-1486, W-1487)
for the sum of Three Hundred, Forty-Seven Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-Eight and 70/100 dollars ($347,468.70) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Bond Funds, Water Utility Funds, Storm Water Management Funds. 501-2901-537.75-01 and 540-1807-538.75-01
