Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Badger Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) 10' Dump Body for a total sum of $36,607.38.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for one (1) Dump Body for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Badger Truck Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 9, 2010 submitted by Badger Truck Equipment for furnishing one (1) 2010 Truck Engineering Model 525F dump body with 304 stainless steel body and AR400 floor for $36,607.38 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1067 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
