Resolution to approve bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for the Traffic Calming and Pavement Marking Project in various locations throughout the City of West Allis in the amount of $190,828.89.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc.  for 2024 Project No. 22 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc.  for 2024 Project No. 22 for the for the installation of traffic calming including concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramps, signing, marking and landscaping in:

 

Various Locations Throughout the City of West Allis

PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1287-1, SP-1287-2, SP-1297-1, SP-1297-2, & M-23

 

for the sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty-eight and 89/100 dollars ($190,282.89) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Traffic Calming Program and Patching Program.
