Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of CDW Government, Inc. for furnishing and delivering Microsoft Software for a total sum of $41,502.97.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for furnishing and delivering Microsoft Software for the IT Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of CDW Government, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 20, 2007 submitted by CDW Government, Inc. for furnishing various Microsoft software licenses for upgrading the City network for the total sum of $41,502.97  in accordance with State Bureau of Procurement Bulletin 15-20800-501 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
