An Ordinance to Amend Subsections 10.105(2)(a) and (b) of theWest Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Night Parking Permits.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsections 10.105(2)(a) and (b) of the Revised Municipal Code are hereby amended to read:
10.105 ALL-NIGHT PARKING

(2) Night Permits. No vehicle shall be parked on any public street between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. of any day, except licensed passenger vehicles parked in accordance with the following provisions:
(a) All-night parking where permitted shall be restricted to the even numbered side of the street on those nights with an even calendar date before midnight and to the odd numbered side of the street on those nights with an odd calendar date before midnight. This provision shall not apply to vehicles legally parked in disabled parking zones established under Section 10.065(7). Vehicles bearing disabled plates or identification cards issued pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sections 341.14(1), (1a), (1e), (1m), (1q) or (1r) or Section 343.51 which are not parked in disabled zones established under Section 10.065(7) shall be subject to the requirements listed herein regarding odd and even side parking.
(b) No all-night parking shall be permitted, except by vehicles displaying night parking permits specifically issued for said vehicles or by vehicles bearing disabled plates or identification cards issued pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sections 341.14(1), (1a), (1e), (1m), (1q) or (1r) or Section 343.51.

PART II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
PART III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
