Title

An Ordinance to Amend Subsection 11.19(3) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Post-Construction Stormwater Management.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.      Subsection 11.19(3) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby amended to read:

11.19      POST-CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER MANAGEMENT.

(3)      Purpose.  This section adopts and implements the State of Wisconsin, NR 151, post-construction site stormwater water quality standards with duties to reasonably manage the quantity of water run-off for regional flood abatement.  This chapter also adopts and implements the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Chapter 13 rules as they pertain to new development and redevelopment.

PART II.      All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby amended.

PART III.      This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
