Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Cummins NPower LLC for furnishing and delivering one (1) backup generator for City Hall for a total sum of $75,391.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one backup generator and transfer switches for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Cummins NPower LLC be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 3, 2016 submitted by Cummins NPower LLC for furnishing one (1) 2016 Cummins 250DQDAA 250kW, diesel driven engine generator for $58,337.00 and one (1) 2016 ASCO Series 300 service entrance rated automatic transfer switch and life safety automatic transfer switch for $17,054.00 for a total sum of $75,391.00 all in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1311 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
