Resolution accepting ownership, by Quit Claim Deed, from 6750 North Acres, LLC to the City of West Allis, for a property located at 66** W. Washington St. (Tax Key No. 439-0001-043).

Body
WHEREAS, 6750 North Acres, LLC (“North Acres”) owns the 1.969-acre retention pond parcel located at 66** W. Washington St. (Tax Key No. 439-0001-043) (the “Property”); and,

WHEREAS, the North Acres wishes to transfer the Property by Quit Claim Deed to the City of West Allis, (the “City”) for One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration; and,

WHEREAS, the City wishes to obtain ownership of the Property, as the retention pond is a source of revenue for the City through storm water fees, and City ownership of the pond will help facilitate and expedite construction of the Summit Place parking structure expansion to the southwest.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:

1. That the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby approves the transfer of ownership of the Property 66** W. Washington St. (Tax Key No. 439-0001-043) by Quit Claim Deed to the City of West Allis, for One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration.

2. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Quit Claim Deed, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, and any other associated documents as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
