Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Monroe Truck Equipment for furnishing and delivering four (4) V-Box Spreaders for a total sum of $41,940.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering four (4) 12 cu. yd. V-Box Spreaders for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Monroe Truck Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 8, 2006 submitted by Monroe Truck Equipment for furnishing and delivering four (4) 2006 Monroe MSV 12 cu. yd. V-Box Spreaders for the total net sum of $41,940.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
