Title
Resolution authorizing the Director of Development to enter into a contract with WasteCap Resource Solutions for asset salvage services at various City-owned properties and redevelopment projects undergoing demolition throughout the city.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis (the "City") and the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis (the "Authority") share the mission in addressing sites that are blighted, environmentally impacted, and underutilized through redevelopment; and,

WHEREAS, the City, by the Department of Development and/or the Building Inspections and Neighborhood Services Department ("BINS"), will be demolishing various properties within the city throughout the next few years and has an interest in promoting recycling and salvaging of reusable materials to reduce the amount of material discarded at landfill sites; and,

WHEREAS, the City and the Authority issued a competitive Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for Asset Salvage From Demolition Properties for work related to the salvage of materials from various demolition projects located within the City of West Allis, with responses due December 22, 2015; and,

WHEREAS, RFQ responses were evaluated and scored by four (4) staff members from the Department of Development for selection by the City and the Authority.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of West Allis that WasteCap Resource Solutions is selected for providing Asset Salvage Services at various City and/or CDA-owned properties and redevelopment projects undergoing demolition throughout the city.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of West Allis that the Director of Development is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a contract with WasteCap Resource Solutions.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make any substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various consulting Contract documents, including but...
