Resolution Relative to Vacation and Discontinuance of a Part of the Public Right-of-Way North of West Greenfield Avenue Between South 63rd Street and South 64th Street.

WHEREAS, the public interest requires that a part of the Public Right-of-Way North of West Greenfield Avenue between South 63rd Street and South 64th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated October 26th, 2006, File No. Y-1154, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be discontinued and vacated; and,

WHEREAS, this Resolution was introduced before the Common Council of the City of West Allis on December 5th, 2006; Notice of Pendency of the Resolution to vacate the aforesaid Public Right-of-Way was filed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County on November 30th, 2006; and Notice of Hearing was published in the official City newspaper on December 22nd, 2006, December 29th, 2006 and January 5th, 2007; and,

WHEREAS, no sufficient written objection to the vacation and discontinuance was filed with the City Administrative Officer, Clerk/Treasurer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, in accordance with the authority vested in the Common Council by Sec. 66.1003, Wisconsin Statutes, that a part of the Public Right-of-Way North of West Greenfield Avenue between South 63rd Street and South 64th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated October 26th, 2006, File No. Y-1154, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby vacated and discontinued, as required by the public interest.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certain public utility easements for gas, water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and electric, upon, along, through and under the parcel of property shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated October 26...
