Title

Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of ProPhoenix Corporation to provide Wireless Digital Assistance software for a total net sum of $28,800.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for providing Wireless Digital Assistance (WDA) software to the West Allis Fire Department; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of ProPhoenix Corporation be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, the Information Technology Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because it is the same software used by the Police Dept. and is interfaced into the 911 and dispatch program.  It is only available from ProPhoenix.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 9, 2012,  submitted by ProPhoenix Corporation to furnish WDA Application software, installation, project management and training for the total net sum of $28,800.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
