Title

Resolution to authorize the allocation of an amount not to exceed $3,300 for pay for exceptional performance for Municipal Court personnel.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has adopted a pay-for-performance system to recognize and reward high performance; and

WHEREAS, Municipal Court personnel are not included in the Pay for Exceptional Performance Policy and Procedure; and

WHEREAS, the Municipal Judge has requested the ability to recognize and reward the performance of Municipal Court personnel; and

WHEREAS, the duty to set compensation for Municipal Court personnel is imposed upon the Common Council pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 755.10(1).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that an amount not to exceed $3,300 is authorized for Municipal Court personnel salaries, to be allocated to individual employees by the Municipal Judge as pay for exceptional performance.  Funding for this will be transferred from Account No.100-0401-512.12-01 (Provisional Salary and Wages).
