Title

Resolution Requesting a Waiver from Trans 75 Requirements for Bicycle Accommodations on S. 100th St. (from a point 490FT South of Schlinger Ave. to Schlinger Ave.) Construction due to the Absence of Need Exception.

Body

WHEREAS, The City of West Allis has entered into an Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to replace S.100^th St (From a point 490FT South of Schlinger Ave. to Schlinger Ave.) as part of the Zoo Interchange Reconstruction in the City of West Allis. (WisDOT Project No. 1060-33-80/81),

WHEREAS, The City of West Allis Common Council has determined that the proposed S. 100^TH St. Reconstruction meets the conditions outlined in Wisconsin Administration Code, Trans 75.06 "Absence of Need" Exception (WisDOT Exception 4) for bicycle accommodations (installation of bikeways).

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the West Allis Common Council that the proposed S. 100^th St reconstruction, as part of the Zoo Interchange reconstruction, (WisDOT Project No. 1060-33-80/81) meets the conditions outlined in Wisconsin Administrative Code, Trans 75.06 " Absence of Need" Exception (WisDOT Exception 4) for bicycle accommodations (installation of bikeways).
