Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to Provide Temporary Street Lighting On South 76th Street From West Greenfield Avenue to West Pierce Street in an amount not to exceed $5,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the South 76th Street construction project will cause the permanent street lighting to be out until the new lighting system is installed late in 2014; and,
 
WHEREAS, the addition of temporary street lighting may improve the comfort level for pedestrians and residents on South 76th Street, especially during the State Fair; and,
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to provide temporary street lighting for South 76th Street from west Greenfield to West Pierce Street in the amount not to exceed $5,000.  Payment to be made from City of West Allis Contingency Funds.
