Resolution to approve bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for the asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, sanitary sewer, and utility adjustments in W. Mitchell Street from S. 108th Street to 860' West of S. 108th St., S. 88th Street from W. Lincoln Avenue to W. Arthur Place and S. Wollmer Road from W. Oklahoma Avenue to S. 108th Street in the City of West Allis in the amount of $558,326.70.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2012 Project No. 5 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2012 Project No. 5 for:
asphalt resurfacing of the pavement including the cracking and seating of the pavement with miscellaneous driveway and sidewalk repair, sanitary sewer, and utility adjustments in:
W. Mitchell Street: S. 108th Street to 860' West of S. 108th St.
S. 88th Street: W. Lincoln Avenue to W. Arthur Place
S. Wollmer Road.: W. Oklahoma Avenue to S. 108th Street

for the sum of Five Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred tTwenty-Six and 70/100 dollars ($558,326.70)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; a...
