Resolution to approve bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for the resurface of the West Allis Senior Center Parking Lot at 7001 W. National Ave. in the City of West Allis in the amount of $72,978.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2024 Project No. 21 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2024 Project No. 21 for the pavement milling and pavement resurfacing, including miscellaneous curb and gutter repair, pavement markings, and utility adjustments at:
Senior Center Parking Lot
7001 West National Avenue
(PLAN FILE NOS. B-838)
for the sum of Seventy-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Seventy-Eight and no/100 dollars ($72,978) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be funded with ARPA funding.
