Title

Resolution approving a quotation from Stepp equipment company for repairs to the solid waste compactor at the Yard in an amount not to exceed $19,000.

Body

Whereas, the solid waste compactor at the Public Works Yard is in need of excessive repairs; and, 

Whereas, if the compactor breaks down it will cause significant problems for West Allis residents who use the solid waste/recycling facilities at the Yard and operational problems for staff; and,

Whereas, Stepp equipment is the compactor supplier and maintenance dealer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $18,000 is hereby approved to be funded though the appropriate Public Works account.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to sign the quotation from Stepp.
