Resolution for approval of the Joint Agreement between the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee, et al and the City of West Allis relative to several projects including Soccer Fields, McKinley Park, Dark Fiber, Jefferson School, Madison easement, Roosevelt easement, Franklin Field House tennis court conversion to parking lot, former Parkway School, former Heritage School and Nathan Hale track extension.
Body
WHEREAS, the School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee (WAWM) and the City of West Allis (WA) have several projects that each is pursuing, both separately and together; and,
WHEREAS, WAWM and WA desire to cooperate with each other to the fullest extent possible; and,
WHEREAS, a Joint Agreement or "Joint Understanding" has been drafted to which specifies the basic intent of both parties on the projects named in the title above and will be used as a key starting point when negotiating separate agreements for each project; and,
WHEREAS, it's understood that separate agreements or actions satisfactory to the both parties must be negotiated and approved by each of their respective governing bodies on each project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Joint Agreement is approved and the Mayor is authorized to sign on behalf of the City.
