Resolution to approve bid of Level Up Construction, Inc. for the Liberty Heights Park Pavilion Project, a Community Development Block Grant Project in the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,279,630.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Level Up Construction, Inc. for 2024 Project No. 32 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Level Up Construction, Inc. for 2024 Project No. 32 for the demolition and new construction of a park pavilion which includes but is not limited to mobilization / demobilization; site security; building demolition and backfilling; excavation; new pavilion construction including plumbing; HVAC; & electrical; sewer & water connections; concrete pavement; landscaping; and lawn restoration in accordance with the specifications at:

 

Liberty Heights Park Pavilion at 6101 W. Orchard St.

for the sum of One Million, Two-Hundred, Seventy-nine Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty and no/100 dollars ($1,279,630) be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds (220-7522-563.70-05 Project C23409).
