Resolution relative to Agreement between City of West Allis and Motorsports LLC Paramedic Ambulance/Fire Engine Stand-By Milwaukee Mile Events for 2009.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has had a contract in the past with Milwaukee Mile Holdings for providing fire and emergency response services at Milwaukee Mile events; and,
WHEREAS, said agreement with Milwaukee Mile Holdings has been terminated; and,
WHEREAS, a new organization, the Wisconsin Motorsports LLC (WM) has entered into an agreement with the Wisconsin State Fair Park Board to conduct events at the Milwaukee Mile for 2009; and,
WHEREAS, WM is required to have and desires to enter into an agreement with the City of West Allis through its Fire Department for the provision of fire and emergency response services to the Milwaukee Mile for 2009 events; and,
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis, through its Fire Department, is desirous to enter into such agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the attached agreement be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
