Resolution authorizing the City Administrator to enter into a contract with Milwaukee County UW-Extension and Waukesha County UW-Extension for a five-year strategic plan process facilitation and development services for the City of West Allis for an estimated cost not to exceed $57,108.

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis (the "City") passed Resolution
R-2014-0197, "Resolution to initiate the process of developing a strategic plan for the City of West Allis"; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering Strategic Planning Process Facilitation and Development Services for the City of West Allis from Milwaukee and Waukesha County UW-Extensions; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council desire to use the completed strategic plan as a method to establish goals, priorities, objectives, and strategies to meet the needs of the community in conjunction with the budget process as timely as possible; and
WHEREAS, the Milwaukee County UW-Extension and Waukesha County UW-Extension are available to commence the Strategic Planning Process in February 2016.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the City Administrator is authorized to enter into a contract for a five-year strategic plan process facilitation and development services for the City of West Allis with Milwaukee County UW-Extension and Waukesha County UW-Extension for an estimated cost not to exceed $57,108.
2. That the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive and non-substantive changes, modifications, additions, and deletions to and from the various provisions of the contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums, and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity, and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent ther...
