Resolution Relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a Portion of a Public Alley North of West Hayes Avenue Between South 107^th Street and South 108^th Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City is considering vacating and discontinuing a Portion of a Public Alley North of West Hayes Avenue between South 107^th Street and South 108^th Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice of Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the vacation and discontinuance of a Portion of a Public Alley North of West Hayes Avenue between South 107^th Street and South 108^th Street, be published in the official City newspaper, the NOW, on September 20^th, 2007, September 27^th, 2007, and October 4^th, 2007; that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on October 16^th, 2007, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of alley proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
