Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of ASD Healthcare, Aventis Pharmaceuticals and FFF Enterprises for furnishing and delivering 350 vials of Flu Vaccine for a total sum of $25,726.50.

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services for furnishing and delivering 350 /10 dose vials of influenza vaccines for the Health Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of ASD Healthcare, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and FFF Enterprises be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 13, 2004 submitted by The State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services awarding the contract to ASD Healthcare for furnishing 150 vials of Fluviron at $67.95/vial, and Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for furnishing 100 vials of flu vaccine approved for children at $81.54/vial and the proposal dated March 24, 2004 from FFF Enterprises for furnishing 100 vials of Fluviron at $73.80/vial for a total net sum of $25,726.50 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
